Verify is misspelled in this post. This was copied from another thread here, afaik. or it was also posted here but not with the background (nice touch). I've sent out many and only got a response of "you're a noob".

Do you think it's better to target people who ARE trading/selling or people who ARE NOT trading or selling?

Usually people on trading/selling sites are more aware of this scam. But if you do decide to try it on those people, look for targets that only have like 1 or 2 posts because chances are they are first time sellers and won't suspect to be sent that email.

Once you have the infos, how do you transfer the gold to your own account in total safety? I think direct trade is the best right?

Can they track my IP on the scammed account and therefore, find out my main account?

Blizzard does not IP nor do they do anything else associated with IPs.

I'd think not trading/selling. Most people that are trading/selling are not noobs and have seen all these scams.

Id say next time ask for less things just like account name and secret question password because it looks like a scam when you even need there CD key... its just to much the less you ask for the less they think about it

Really nice scam, but just a question: can you do the image just as a "background" image, so you can select test (just cause it will look more likely like a blizz e-mail)

The only thing that stops me from doing this is that im scared they can track my IP or something xD. Argh, SWAT team trough the windows :P. Isnt there any danger involved about them tracking your IP or the victim informs blizzard about his account being stolen and they track your IP when you log on?

Im probably a realy hypocrit >.<
