its not fake!!!!!!!!!!!!
Now just to inform users as everyone seems ot be getting emails like this today and after the activity in this thread:
http://www.mmowned.com/forums/wow-sc...ous-email.html
Is the sort of email you would get.
Or something saying your account is banned for 3 hours, or that the blizzard man left his keys in his office can he grab your user and pass to get back in.
DDDDDUUUUURRRRR
Any email from blizzard that:
Ask for your password = FAKE
Take you to a bogous link like wownonscam.com/bnetstuff = FAKE
Or any shit like that there all FAKE.
And if your a nub and want to feel safe then go to the actual sites worldofwarcraft.com or wow-europe.com and log on to see if your account is actuall banned or something.
If your feeling even nubber then call Blizzard up themselves and ask wtf is this email about, that will give you a proper reason as to the email.
If you are an idiot and fall for these then make sure you have an authenticator attacked to your account and if you don't for w/e reason then get your info changed ASAP, change ALL passwords like email as well as the standard e-fgt uses the SAME password for everything which is BAD LOL K ITS BAD
Note this is not intended to bash the user of that thread it was just a good example.
Danke

edit: Also why would blizzard need your name etc if they already have it on file?

e-fgt.
L2SPOT FAKES.
Ontopic: No ones is gonna really care, most will be like "meh". None the less, epix.
Guys, I tracked an email that got sent to me back, it went to [email protected]
i think the admins and mods are trying to scam us all and get our accounts.
I have atleast a 100 of these in my spam over 10 days. And also around 20 in my regular Inbox. ><
How would you explain Narthans account actually being banned after receiving mail like this one ? And him contacting blizzard and they telling him that the mail is legit ? Also as the discussion on the other thread goes: From this kind of setup the scammer can't receive anything from you. Since the return mail is @blizzard.com and there is no link at all where you should input your information.

This is obvious scam that i received:

-Rogues Do It From Behind-
The point is blizzard do not ask for your pass and will not need our name or address as they have it on file, they would ask for an id or something. IDK what up with the call i think its bs imo.
If you need me you have my skype, if you don't have my skype then you don't need me.
im also getting confused cause i got mails to my 2nd email that isnt used as Bnet username and the scammers didnt ask for my password they just told me to send an email to (Realblizzardemail)
Meh, I have over 9000 of those.
Been getting a ton of these over the past few weeks. Is there anything in particular that sparks a wave like this, or is it just random? (Aside from it meaning my email got picked up somewhere)
Christmas was a month ago, and WoW game (vanilla) were selling for only $5, bet there are many new nub in the game.
When I see this, I fire up my ancient laptop that I only use for watching video, go to the web site, enter in a bunch of fake info. Sometimes it would get rejected if it does check with real Blizzard site but after a few tries, the scam site starts accepting anything you enter. I think it's when Blizzard blocked the traffic temporarily due to too many failed attempts.
If everyone would use a junk computer or a public computers (libraries, school, etc) and start flooding the scammer site with fake info, sooner or later some of the scammer would give up as it'd be too time consuming to weed through false info doe just 1 or 2 real info.
