Ppl who fall for this deserve to be scammed.
I haven't really used this section of MMOwned before, however there is a new scam out (but doesn't seem to be commonly in use).
I can predict that it will become increasingly more popular.
It is basically a scam where by the person whispers you or says in trade: "Go see previews of the new World of Warcraft movie coming out! Current customers only!"
They then direct you to a website where you are required to "log-in" so that they can verify that you are indeed a current World of Warcraft player and then give you some crappy Youtube vid with fake "trailers".
Ppl who fall for this deserve to be scammed.
Can you please post the link off the website in a PM?
Want to have some fun with it![]()
It's a whole bunch of them, I'm getting emails and such.

You can't blame people for being ignorant
Has anyone tried to log in with fake ID and password? If the site happily accepts fake info, then it'd be possible to abuse this by having people with spare time keep logging in with random ID and password, flooding them with a bunch of non working "accounts" It may not stop them but it may slow them down as they'd have to spend a lot of time checking each one to find working one that a sucker actually gave away.
Thanks for the warning![]()
