this has been 100% successful for me so far.

PROFIT AFTER 2 NIGHTS: 1k

so yeah, everyone's buzzing about the new raptor pets that came with 3.2.

The good news? a large proportion believe ALL the raptors are rare drops

if you've been looking at anything to do with the raptors, you'll know that there's a pet you can buy in Dalaraan (Obsidian Hatchling, or something similar)

so how does this work? if you haven't seen how this is gonna rake in the gold, i'll break it down

buy at least TWO raptor hatchlings from the Vendor in Dalaa. send ONE to an alt (it really doesnt matter about lvl/class/race or whatever)


THEN proceed to your local AH and post up your newly bought pet for x amount of G (start low, say, 500-700g). relog your alt.


get your alt to toddle off to the AH and post up RAPTOR NUMBER TWO on the AH for 50-200g LESS then your main has his posted.

Log and go to bed/do dailies on your main. whatever. i basically guarantee you that if nobody catches on, this is the easiest profit you will make.



**DO NOT** advertise them on trade. there will ALWAYS be an ******* to proclaim its Vendored

**DO NOT** false advertise. this scam alone is unbannable, but if you tell someone OMFG LOOK RARE PET LOLOLOL and then sell it to them, you can get banned for scamming.

there is always that. but think about it. 50g for a pet, and with a small amount of luck, 450-950g profit. i'll take that gamble.

It's not a bad idea and with the kids on summer holiday there should be plenty of marks around :P...Unfortunetly on my sever everyone seems to be trying this at the moment, so I doubt much profit can be made on this for me anyway. I'm sure if your lucky with your timing this would make you a nice profit.
