Easy Scam - Untested Yet Please Report if it works

This scam is not going to make you hundreds of gold but it will increase the money made off **some** lock boxes. Supposedly lock boxes can be put on auction house ( i asked in trade in a city ), and i think you can open a lock box and take 1 item out and keep the rest in? If this is all correct check your loot for any worthy items and then stick lock box on ah for 10g, somebody will buy it since they think it is full and hasn't been looked at. I just thought of it, don't have a lock box to test, if somebody could test and reply it would be great.
