How To Make Your Account Scam Seem Legit (Part 2)

*This is a Guide/tutorial on how to make people believe you actually own the account you are selling/trading! (Account Scam)*
Part One of This Guide/Tutorial

~Items/Skills Needed~
*Active Retail WoW Account (Can not be a trail!)
*Access to WoW PTR/ A Private Server(Yours or someone elses)
*Some photo editing skill (Not a lot)
*Photo editing program (Paint should work)
*Obviously a little social skill

Part 2

Now is where access to the PTR or a private server will come in handy!

Copy characters over to the PTR, make it the same class.

Rename the character the same name as that of your scamming character

Once you get into the PTR set up the gear and take some screenshots.

I usually do NOT show the stats of gear as on the PTR is has info buttons.

Make sure when you take the screenshots you cut out the mini map as it has the blizzard support button on it!!


For the Private server do the same things but you won't have to hide as much which is nicer!


Now you can choose to use this or you can go for a little more.
I find that using [Ban Hammer]'s FBM Scam!
All credits to him for that part.

Now that you have all of this set up head on over to your favorite scamming area, Markeedragon, blocket, etc. and make yourself a nice post.
There quite a few guides on how to make a nice selling/trade post on MMOwned, i suggest using them!


When using [Ban Hammer]'s Guide with this you will also be getting a picture of their ID!
Once you get all of their info merge the account with a battle.net account and usually they will call blizzard and have it locked.
But you now know all of this info! Send over the ID with all the appropriate info and you now have yourself a nice account.

It means that usually once you have taken their account they will call blizzard.
Blizzard will LOCK it until an ID with that print out page is sent in to prove you are the OO owner.
But since the guy also sent you a picture of his id print that out along with the retrieval form.
And fax both over to blizzard and you will get the account back.
