How do I know you won't scam me?/How do I know the card is legit?
The best response you could use for these types of questions is something along the lines of (remember on a Level 1, on an 80 you can just say "Why would I risk my main?") "I am completely trustworthy, and I understand how uncomfortable this can be, but remember, I don't want to get scammed out of my precious card." This is begging the question, you don't fully answer what they say, but turn it back on them. If they think you will scam them, just keep them comfortable and be patient, but question them! When you ask them if they might scam you, they see that you are 'weaker' and they would probably wish to be in control. [Thanks to -JD-]: "If you don't trust me, don't buy the card. But you will miss a great oppertunity, this card WILL sell today and it's cheap!".

Why are you on a Level 1?
As you saw in the video, I used this phrase: "I tried selling on my main server, but had no luck, so I went over here to try again." If they want to see your main, just make up some excuse such as, "Oh it'd be to hard, and just not worth it, take my word." or "My wife is having fun on him now, I don't want to bother her." Now with the wife comment, you seem older. You can also switch that with husband, it might make more people comfortable. Usually you just say your toon is on a different account if they ask how your 'spouse' is playing at the same time. You can always use your imagination, and make sure you make them feel in charge.

Why don't you just sell the card on eBay?/Sell it online and get money to buy gold!
There is a very obvious answer to this, and you probably know what to say. You want to pretend like you follow the rules and won't risk anything. It is always good to pretend to be a dumbed down girl.

Some things from -JD-: "I don't play WoW but I want to give my girlfriend/boyfriend some gold for his/her birthday, he/she's a real addict but he/she doesn't have time to get gold so I thought I'd do this " I prefer pretending to be a girl here, some WoW players don't talk to girls a lot so they'll feel a little nervous and forget about the scamming." and ""Selling gold is against Blizzard's rules and I don't want to get this account banned, it's my husband's account and this is not against blizzard's rules ^^" Works really well with the "Why are you on a level 1 char" thing You don't want his level 80 to be known as a spammer so you log on a lvl 1."

So, to get the social engineering aspect of this, you need to make the person feel in-charge, and better. You also want to let them know you are concerned too. To answer this question straight out, I'd say something along the lines of: "I don't want to deal with eBay, I'm not good with that sort of thing.", "I don't want to get my account banned for buying gold." Good luck!
