[EPIC]The FBM scam! The only thing you'll ever need!

This scam worked for me, the person I dealt with was eager to get his hands on my imaginary level 80 and at one stage he asked to speak on phone but I said something like ah ok well I've got to go for food now so we'll finish this off later yeah and then he thought screw it and handed over all the details.

Its the first time I've done something like this and I just did seeing as I was scammed a while back and have no account to barter with myself.

Anyway I've just received a threat email saying stuff like
"ut mark my words.. I will hunt you down, I will look for you.. and I will find you.
You have 24 hours to return my account... if not....
You dont know who i am... you dont know my social skills all arround the world...
remember me, I will find you"

I don't think I should be worried but to be sure are there any ways I can be traced down? I used a new msn, and everything but still have a tiny bit of doubt.

Decided to try this for pure fun since i haven't scammed in a while and i ended up with a 2300 Rated Warrior, cute... Not original but definately not old, nice touch with the ID. I'd give you a 10/10 if you did this thing all by yourself but since the only thing that's really conventional is the ID-thing, so youll have to stick with a 9,5/10. :3

Tried this on two targets, this was on EU servers by the way. After a long convo with the first mark he, 'seemed,' to lose he's connection but in reality I reckon he got cold feet :yuck:

Anyway the second was some Norwegian kid. I picked a pretty good account of the armoury which just so happens that was on the same server and he's teamed with before and admired the character . This was pure luck but I went with it and said things along the line of: 'yeah when we were in Naxx that time you were doing awsume damage and my brother doesn't want my account so you fancy swapping?' . He thought all he's Christmas's and Birthday's had just come at once .

Needless to say I now have he's Shaman and have stripped it clean, for about 9k gold

Awesome adaptation of an older idea so +Rep for you. It just goes to show the key thing with scamming is there is no fool proof plan, it's all about adapting to the situation and taking your chances

That is so true, it takes alot of the person itself. Not everyone is born for scamming xD

Well, you should do that email change and show him a pic of the change in the email no matter what

Also, just go to markeedragon and search for what you want to scam(eventually read Rawlfstomp's guide on how to set up a nice markeedragon thread, i linked it in the start of my guide)
