The Greed Gametime Scam

This scam is based off Greed.

You can do this account in wow (pretend that your friend is lending you his account) or in MD or anything similar to MD.

1. Make a post say you want to trade 6-7k (i picked exodar in this case) Gold for a 60d Game card. On the post put high rated servers where the gold is high demand and put aim or msn so people can contact you.
2. Once someone contacts you (saying hi or hey) reply with something like this "okay, before we start i want you to know that the account with gold has no gametime, so I cannot give you gold untill i get gametime first". This phrase alone will weed out the scared from the greedy depending there reply.
3. After 20-30 seconds reply again and talk to the person explaining him you have been stuck and got caught off guard with your game time expiring and now you cant play. Try and sound pity/legit without putting too much effort into convincing the person because if you do then it sounds like a scammer.
4. They might ask stuff like "how can i trust you", "how do i know your legit" just say like "im sorry" "i assure i am legit" and stuff like that.
5. If he didnt come up with something creative by then offer them this. Tell them your account just expired and you can show him a picture. Here is an example i used. http://img369.imageshack.us/img369/5452/wamp1.jpg
Make sure you always edit the picture time on last login and game time expired so they are similar.
6. After that depending on his reaction add another picture showing your account management chars and tell him you have the gold but you just cant access it (i had picked exodar server). http://img115.imageshack.us/img115/3429/wamt2.jpg
7. Show him an armory link of your main character using myarmory, in my case i used this. WoW Armory Alternative - Nameless Armory Profiles.
8. If needed add another picture of no game time in wow (notice exodar on bottom right) http://img391.imageshack.us/img391/1...0309013724.jpg

By then they will often bite because you sound legit and mainly because in there head they can make a great deal of this, (most people can sell 6-7k for 6$ make 40$ while a gc would cost 24$ in MD).

This really catches people who are greedy and think easy profit.

yes I agree - this scam sounds good but chances are it will not work for smart people. But then again there are a lot of idiots out there who would fall for this. But this has 0% ban chance so it's worth a shot

a lot of people are greedy in general, so when you approach then as a "new person whos desperate for gametime" it works pretty good. Dont forget i mean if you look at the screens they are convincing all you have to do is put your words right.

I highly doubt this will actually work.

Every scam has a chance to work just because it seems stupid the only extra requirement is that you scam a STUPID person which is what you get most of the time.
