This is a simple letter I wrote back when I was but a leecher on a different MMOWNED account...long before I learned to think for myself and create such wicked scams.

Anyway, the scam was created by someone else (forget the name), whereby you send a "legal" letter to a gold selling company and scare them into giving you gold. While sites like MMOINN and WOWMINE would never fall for it, your smaller operations may piss themselves. It's a wall of text, but a legally frightening wall of text. So copy and paste this and email it to bob'sgold.com or some crap like that and watch what happens. This only worked for me once...but I think I nailed like 10k from it. It's been a while. Just try it...

    Here is MY revised letter:

    Greetings,

We at Blizzard Entertainment have recently been made aware of the illegal activities that websites such as yours have been taking part in concerning the online role playing game World of Warcraft, known furthermore as the Program. As clearly stated in the Program policies and Terms of Service you may not sell gold or any other virtual property of Blizzard entertainment for real world monetary gains. You may not purchase, sell, gift or trade any Account, or offer to purchase, sell, gift or trade any Account, and any such attempt shall be null and void. Blizzard owns, has licensed, and/or otherwise has rights to all of the content that appears in the Program. You agree that you have no right or title in or to any such content, including the virtual goods or currency appearing or originating in the Program, or any other attributes associated with the Account or stored on the Program service drives. Blizzard does not recognize any virtual property transfers executed outside of the Program or the purported sale, gift or trade in the real world of anything related to the Program's virtual environment. Accordingly, you may not sell items for real world currency or otherwise exchange items for value outside of the Program.

It has recently come to our attention that you and similar companies are attempting to sell Blizzard's virtual currency. commonly referred to as gold.
We have been aware of this for quite some time and have done our best to keep logs of all activities and gold trades inside the Program world by use of tracker program directives. User Accounts that have been flagged for larger than normal gold trades and Program Auction House sales has bolstered a large number of Program users that have cooperated with Blizzard Entertainment to subdue the instability to the in-game economy.
We allow certain percentages of virtual currency to enter the market, although recently an exceedingly large amount has been pulled from our in-game economies.
Of all servers, the one which concerns us the most is the US/Oceanic realm; <---->.
We at Blizzard Entertainment have the ability henceforth to take all necessary legal actions, based upon signed affidavits from Program Users, against your company for disturbing the in-game economy, and breaking the Holderman/Falstein Law, the blanket law against all illegal media piracy, personal-online identity theft, electronic fraud and poaching of virtual properties.
As you can surely understand, the balance in-game has been dramatically overturned due to not only your company, but others that will be receiving this same warning.
The only thing we as Blizzard Entertainment ask is for your cooperation with us to stabilize the economy on the aforementioned server(s), and to cease all activities that fall under both the Program Terms of Service and the Holderman/Falstein Law.

As we cannot openly flood the in-game economy with more gold due to the strict mathematical construct upon which the Program was established, we ask that you please remit all gold(s) that you have acquired from the aforementioned server, mailing said surplus to our Program based representative using the in-game mailing system. As you are not the only company to receive this warning, you have been assigned a designated pass code of randomly generated alphanumerics that you are to include with your remission of the aforementioned surplus. This alphanumeric pass code will allow Blizzard to systematically track all companies to ensure compliance with this warning. You will find this alphanumeric pass code at the bottom of this email. The in-game representative, named <--------->, is an autonomous character whose sole purpose is Economic balance within the Program. From this character we shall systematically redistribute the gold you have poached from the Program in an attempt to reestablish the aforementioned server's economy. A forty-eight hour period of leniency has been placed upon this issue, and you will be given said amount of time to deliver all gold to the aforementioned designated agent before legal action is sought.

    Regards,
The World of Warcraft Game Secruity & Accounts Team.

I'm sorry, but no one will fall on this. Long time ago I have sent a mail similar to this to more than 100 gold selling sites and no one sent me a single gold.
