So for those of you who don't follow the trades, I was graciously gifted a video/email account hack today from Felheart. After having sorted through many accounts, some bogus, I got the idea to take the next step.
The video asks that they send an email with the subject Lost Password to a fake email account. Now, once I have verified that the account is active, I have been sending them this:
Code:
Greetings ,
We regret to inform you that your request was not processed due to the following errors:
- Incorrect Username
- Incorrect Password
Please resubmit your request accompanied by the email address attached to your account, and the answer to your Secret Question for account verification.
If you have not requested the following actions, please contact Blizzard Account Support.
Blizzard would like to remind you that you should never share your account information with anyone other than Blizzard employees as to ensure account security.
Thank you for your time and enjoy your journies in Northrend,
Game Master Albengore
If you feel you have received this email in error, please disregard.
Using a fake emailer, it looks like the email is from noreply @ Blizzardaccountsupport.com. In the subject line, I put RE:Lost Password.
I'm waiting to see how many people fall for it. So if you have a video phisher, you may want to try this route to secure the whole account.
