Simple birthday guild scam for a few items / gold.

Disclaimer: Dont expect earning big money with this scam, its just a simple thing i found out this morning. I Dont know if this is posted before, if it is, feel free to flame me or delete this post .

So this morning i was joining some noob guild. And as soon as i joined i noticed their guild message:''Tomorrow is somedudes his birthday. Invite more people!"

So the idea is, you join some guild saying its your birthday in days.

Example 1:

Me: Hi
Guild: Welcome
Me: I cant wait till tomorrow
Guild: Why?
Me: Its my birthday tomorrow, turning
Guild: Cool

Example 2:

Me: Hi
Guild: Welcome, how are you?
Me: Very good actually, i turned 21 today
Guild: Oh congrats.
Me: Thanks

People will eventually give you some cash or items. I did this with 2 guilds and ended up with 100g and a BoE blue.

This should also work with individuals. Make friends with someone and tell em your birthday is tomorrow.

Me: Hey , How are you today ?
He: Hey, im fine and you?
Me: Very good, its my birthday today
He: Oh cool, how old?
Me: 21
He: Congrats mate, take this i dont need it anyway

Say ''Thank you'' , then you wont even look like a scammer

As said above this isnt for big cash, but hey, all little bits help right?
This doesnt always work, id say, a 75% chance to work.

I remember this on Ultima Online. People started to wonder when they started shouting "HAPPY BIRTHDAY MATE" in general and people were like "IT WAS HIS BIRTHDAY 3 WEEKS BACK NUB."
