Guild Bank Swap

Firstly, if this is a repost, say something. The only thing that came up in the search field was the old "Get invited to a guild with officer status and lolsteal their bank" trick. This is vastly different ad does have a failure chance.

Requirements:
-2x level 80
-1x alt (any level)
-110g (plus charter bribes)
-misc old pots, junk scrolls, etc.


1. Research. Keep an eye on the AH and put a list of sellers on your friends list. make sure they are level 1 / low level and unguilded.

2. Make a guild on another character, preferably a level 80. Just pay a couple scrubs to sign the charter and pay the small gold price.

3. Buy the first slot of your gbank (100g) and just toss some junky items in there to make it look like a legit bank.

4. Invite one of your alts to the guild and give them full permission to withdraw items from the bank.

5. Make the guild note something similar to "Sorry guys, but the guild just didn't work out due to inactive raiders."

6. While logged onto your main character (with the list of bank alts), wait for your desired victim to come online. Switch characters to your guild leader and invite him to the guild.

7. If he accepts, kick everyone except your alt, promote him to leader, and then gquit. Whisper him something similar to "Congrats on your new guild"

8. Wait several days while he uses the guild bank for his own personal storage. make sure he is offline (by checking your main character), then log onto your alt and take anything of value from the bank.

if he kicks your alt then youre out 110g. If you've done your research and he doesn't, then you've successfully multipled your investment.
