Hide your viruses (Visual Basic, no noobs)

Hide your viruses (Visual Basic, no noobs)
www.mmowned.com is simply to make the readers aware of and help prevent a possible virus infection of their workstation.>

    What you need:

Microsoft Visual Basic 4, 5, 6 or maybe newer
Keylogger written in the appropriate VB (Can't post how or where to get this here)
    Proxy, preferably.
    Way to contact the victim
    Lots of caution

With that being said, many people have file extensions hidden. You don't open WoW.exe, you just open something that says WoW and has the icon.

A majority of people don't even know how to enable "Known file extensions" and therefore it makes this whole process much simpler.

Obtain some source code for a visual basic keylogger. These are everywhere, but make sure it is somewhat compatible with your version of visual basic. Don't download anything, make sure its copy and paste. You don't want to get a keylogger when your trying to find a keylogger source...

In the properties toolbox on the left, find the "icon" property. Change it to the path and file name of the .ICO file you want to use.

%SystemRoot%\system32\SHELL32.dll is the file path for most basic computer icons. However, if you wanted the WoW icon, it can usually be found in the Program Files > World of Warcraft folder.

    Steps:

    1. Copy and paste, or write your keylogger in VB. Change the icon in the manner described above.

    2. Compile it.

    3. Rename it to show the file extension of the file you are trying to mimic. If your sending a movie, make it with the div-x icon and save it as:

    Somerandommovie.avi.exe

For someone with hidden known file extensions, it will appear as Somerandommovie.avi

Also, I have heard encrypting a file will cause it to slip past about 60% of virus scanners. Still - This is educational only. If you use any of this, I am not responsible. I can't explain too much more or it would provoke unnecessary consequences.

Sorry but i don't like it. What you are saying is

    1. Copy/paste a keylogger into VB
    2. Change the icon and compile it.

All the sources you find on the net will be detected. And you've "heard" that encrypting a file will cause it to slip past about 60% of the virus scanners, go read some will you?

Infecting the victim with a keylogger Thats a ****ing lawsuit if the victim is smart. I advise all potential scammers to stay away from this way. Computer hacking isnt worth it for a wow account. Stick to social engineering, phishing(wow page)

Social engineering is by far the most fun way to scam accounts.
Keylogging is just too easy, imo.
Also, just because it's a hidden file extension from the person viewing it, doesn't mean the system can't see it. With Vista, a popup will come up saying " AN unidentified program wants to access your computer " which many first time programs show.

That doesn't show up for avi's.

This will probably work on retarded beings, but oh well, there are retards for a reason.

No one can achieve 100% scam success without an insider trick. Methods of increasing success rate are always nice though, every little thing helps too. And of course, this is for educational purposes. Turn off hidden Known File Extensions under Folder Options in the control panel.
