There was a group on anonymous players about a year ago claiming to be the argent dawn. On the anvilmar server. They went on for about a month using character names like Nicholas, or a RL name, they sent me one saying, "The argent dawn needs your help! We are raising gold to save the plagued people of stratholme! Please accept this gift, with a 50g charge towards the people of the scourge."
