Get emails through a contest

This is basically a simple way to get a bunch of emails for different accounts.

First, download TriviaBot (TriviaBot - Addons - Curse)

Go find somewhere with a bunch of people and announce that you'll run a trivia game and the winner will be sent a prize.

Then, run the addon. I used an old account for it because i figured i could possibly be banned for "spamming" the /say channel (I wasnt banned though).

Let the bot do its thing and at the end, whisper the person who won. Tell him that you'll email him his prize and you need his email. Don't specifically request the email he uses on his account though, it could cause suspicion.

I ran the bot on a couple different servers and managed to get 6 emails and even the password to some guy's email (it was the same as his char name, moron) and i took his WoW account. But you could use the emails for a lot of other things too, like sending phishing emails.

Good idea actually, but not very many emails. Also, you could use a trial account to do this, less risk to your main.

You really should stop spaming all the topics with the same reply.
And the idea is not too great cause people don't usually have time to solve trivia... and even if they do they're not many.
