    Account scam - My first!

    Account scam - My first!
My first scam, hope you all enjoy!
I just thought of it when I saw the way
    Blizzars changed up their account
    recovery on their site!

    Needed:

    Active account (atleast level 70)
    friendly talk
    (atleast) 1$ on paypal

    Steps:

Find a victim (must be OO)...
Ask him if you can get his email because your
aim is not working at the moment and would
prefer to use MSN (you now have email).
Be friendly, talk about how you
want to play his class really bad. Make him
believe you are legit. A bit into the convo ask
if you 2 can exchange acc/pass to "Test" each
others chars. If he says yes (you now have username).
After a while of playing his char ask him if
he wants to trade now. Try to get him to go
first by giving you SQ, if not make one up
and give it to him, hope he doesent test it
    (now you have SQ).
Now with all that quit the trade completely,
go to paypal and send his email 1$ and it should
display his name and last name (now you got
those 2.. not too important with the changes
    to account recovery).

Last step, just go to wow.com account recovery
and click change email, type his email in
type in yours and then type in the SQ, you
now have his account with all info!

Quickly transfer the char off the account
and get it banned, otherwise you wont be able
to keep switching the email since they will change
    theirs eventually.

    Side notes:

To be safe and not get scammed the exact same way
by him, use a different email thats not connected
to your paypal or your account, dont give out
    real SQ.

One bad thing I can think of:

is the fact that the char you used will be
flagged by him on whatever site you used,
so I advise using a scammed account so that
you do not get your main flagged as a scammer.

Here's a thought... now I do this with the scammed accounts I want to keep.

I use a nice little gadget that blizzard made called the blizzard authenticator. Attach it to the account and not even the OO can call blizzard to recall it without the 10 digit code on the actual authenticator on the back.

Even if they give blizzard the damn CD-keys on the account the blizzard support person will still ask for the 10 digit code and without it, makes an account recall impossible.

Go go blizzard for making stealing even eaiser.

Added note: the authenticator costs 6$ and can be used on multiple accounts.

Can you use the authenticator on accounts without the same names registered?

Authenticators do rock, not sure if you can use them on multiple accounts with different names, I've never tried but on higher end accounts I always add one just incase.
