This is not a "game master scam." Theoretically it could be considered one, but it's just a bug in Blizzards whacky system.
The Summary:
Using this method I designed (accidently discovered
) I was able to sell 50 Hearts of Darkness for over 15000g and then I was able to get my 50 Hearts of Darkness back and I still had my 15000g. I ended up doubling my profit and selling my 30000g for over 500$.
Requirements:
- 100g.
- Expensive items you want duped for gold + the items.
- Two accounts.
The Method:
BEFORE YOU START THIS MAKE SURE YOU HAVE TWO CHARACTERS ON THE SAME SERVER ON THE TWO DIFFERENT ACCOUNTS. CLOSE ENOUGH TO EACHOTHER THAT THEY CAN TRADE. ONE MUST HAVE 100G + THE ITEMS ON IT!
1) Double screen both the accounts. Trade the 100g you have from the one character to your other character. ONLY TRADE THE 100G. NO ITEMS AT ALL OR THIS WONT WORK!
2) Log off your second character (the one you traded the 100g to).
3) On your first character (the one you traded the 100g off of) open a ticket. Write this on it:
Code:
I was at my house and so was my friend. I went to have a shower and when I come out I see that he's gone. Apparantly I left my World of Warcraft screen up and I was on my bank alt... I realised I was missing my 100g, it was obvious my friend stole it. Now he wont give it back and I really need it. Thanks Blizzard!
4) Now wait until the first GM whispers you. Tell him the bogus story about how your friend stole your gold. Just answer everything he says realistically. The GM will say "I will forward you to a GM who specializes in this field."
5) Wait again. Another GM will whisper you. This one will be the special GM. Tell him the same story and everything you told the first GM. Now, this GM will say "Sorry, but since there was only gold stolen I can't do anything at the time. But I will pass your case on." Before you flip, yes, they always do this. If there is no items stolen they can't really track it hardcore. They are just GMs.
6) Now what you need to do after your GM ticket is gone. Sell all of your items. Not on auction house. You must sell them through trades.
7) Wait a couple days. The Blizzard people will see that items and gold were taken, and they will give you the 100g and all the items you sold back to you. You will end up with the money and the items in the end.
Wait, how do I know this will work?!
I've done it three times on different accounts and every time it worked.
