Your link is messed up.
Code:javascript:document.body.contentEditable='true'; document.designMode='on'; void 0
I haven't seen this anywhere around on the board but it might be useful for scamsters (some will already be aware of this).
There is a javascript 'feature' in both IE and Firefox that allows you to insert a piece of code into your browser address bar and make the page in front of you editable...
Simply paste:
javascript:document.body.contentEditable='true'; document.designMode='on'; void 0
and hit Return.
You'll then find the webpage in front of you is editable (browser side only) so you can change text, information on the page etc.
So, why might this be useful to scammers, well essentially for stuff like account trading, its another weapon in your social engineering armoury. For example, you could send a screenshot over AIM to someone you are talking about trading with showing your Wow Account page - and the data can quickly and simply be amended to reflect any misinformation you want them to see.
I'm not a particularly creative scammer I must admit, so i'll leave it for others to contribute their own uses for this, hopefully some people will find it helpful.
And if you know this/don't see the use of it, please don't flame me, i'm just trying to help and contribute.
Thanks

??
Seems very interesting, will check this out later,
Same principle I believe, but that uses an addon, which may or may not be convenient to install if your at an internet cafe or away from normal pc (example: i'm at work and can't load browser addons).
This is a just a piece of code you paste into your own browser.
The use of the two is essentially similar.
