So... This is now an anti-scam site?

Well, ever since kathunx (i think that's his name) started messing around with scammers, everyone's been showing him support in various threads by making threads or just posting on random threads.

There's been a HUGE decline in account scam ideas, and the only account scams I see now are about scamming scammers, which is fine but really not the goal of most of us here.

We need a new site :/

Oh and so this thread doesn't get locked (because you know, kathunx kinda runs this place now)...

The old AH scam:

1. go to AH

2. find an epic item that there's only one of

3. buy it

4. post it for double the amount you bought it for

5. go on another character and say "buying *epicitemiboughtearlier* for *50% more than AH price*

6. scammmed person buys item, you log out.

Thats a pretty old scam ^^ but anyway (if you bougth it for 500g, just set the BO to 700 max :O or it will be suspicius (soz for bad english))

It is not my intention to destroy your community. You guys can talk about scams and scam ideas all day, I turn my head to that kind of stuff. I just don't want people scamming on my website. I don't run this place or anything, I'm not a moderator here. I don't mind people posting their opinions, just not in my Q&A thread

I don't think we need a new site. As Kathunx said he is not a moderator here and therefore he can't do anything about us posting scams on this board.
Also if we made a new board were we targetted MD - don't you think Kathunx would come there aswell?

True, but what can he do against us scammers taking advantage of all stupid people on MD? It's against the games rule to trade sell or buy an account and it has always been like that, a thought tho.. cant blizzard sue MD for showing how to exploit their game, and the positive thinking of buy and sell accounts?

haha i just realised Kathunx was a site donator. That tickled me insidee =P.


And the point is JUST SCAM PEOPLE WHO ARE LOW IN THE RANKS, or learn to scam right. If the people you scammed dont have sufficient proof, Kathunx prolly wont take up the case. IE, read that post about the emails, like you could say you sent a email with the info and not send it. Then weres there proof? None?! haha


Edit: All you have to do is read about some of the info on Kathunx and if you read about him then you should understand completely where hes coming from and just go by what he says, hes still willing to let you scam his site out of the goodness of his heart even though its illegal, just dont scam the big boys.

I mean, if the scam victim is smart enough, you'll never get him into a point where there's no proof that he was scammed. I would never fall for something like that.

Personally I like Kathnux or whatever. I mean if I was in his shoes I would work night and day to ruin scammers lifes aswell. But im not him and I like scamming. If your worried about getting raped by the jackels, as said 1 million times, stay away from well repped people or TWV people.

And no I havent noticed a decline in scams. I just posted one a day or 2 ago.
