If they catch you, and take you to security, there are surveilance videos... If you come in more then once every few months, they will also be suspect since you set off the alarm everytime you come in/leave.

Just be careful everyone. I don't know about where you are from, but here in Canada this type of stuff can actually develop a criminal record for you when caught. No amount of disputing their claims that you stole will deny video evidence. (walmart has a TON of cameras).

I know in Canada most stores use the same security tags, some people set them off as soon as they enter the store

BUT the problem with your plan is that they may offer to deactivate it for you, in that case you may want to take a tag off of something and put it in between your belt and pants or something of the like. This way they can try and deactivate your bag but it wont do any good, after a short time they give up and there is 0 hassle when you leave because of all the shit you went through coming in.

Just make sure to eye where the cameras are at. They do have people watching and the electronics section is one of the more watched ones. Also if you see a guy or female in that store alot of the time when you go in that isnt in uniform they may be security.

Another thing to do is go in at 11 or so and go to the back bathroom (in a supercenter should be layway but that is no more) or a camera blindspot. take the stuff out of the packaging then bring it back empty. Can only do this with out of case stuff.

A tip to remember is that security is really lax between 11pm - 6am. Usually there isnt any at all.
