    Using email to scam WoW accounts.

    Using email to scam WoW accounts.
    I dont know if this has been posted before, so im really sorry if it has. Btw, I'm really new here if you dont know.:wave: Well anyway,

    Using email to scam WoW accounts

    What you need:

    ♦ 1 or more WoW Accounts
    ♦ A trustworthy friend ingame
    ♦ A hotmail account
    ♦ A victim that is new to WoW or someone with a lower IQ
    ♦ Good persuasive skills

    -Ingame Steps-

    1) Login to WoW and your highest lvl character.

    2) Grab a friend who knows whats going on and tell him to follow you. (Having more than 1 friend helps this scam)

    3) Search around in a city or town until you see someone want that has something you want. Epic gear, alot of money, ect. This will be your victim.

    4) Talk to your victim (not in whisper, but in / s) and tell him/her that there is going to be a huge tournament of some sort. Say that there is an enormous prize and that its free to enter.

    5) If the victim wants to enter tell him/her to give your friend his/her email and that you will be informed from email every day until it starts.

    6) If the victim still wants to enter you should get the email ingame. Write it down or take time to remember it.

    -Email Steps-

    1) Sign up for a new hotmail account. Your Live ID should be something like [email protected] . Your alternate email can be anything, from your personal yahoo email account to your aol account.

    2) Now for "Your information". Make a name simple and not sound retarded. Your sex type doesn't matter, but your birth year does. I suggest making your birth year something in the 70s or 80s. I chose 1985 which makes me 23 years old. So now we are at Country/Region, for this choose United States if you have a US account, or one of the Europe countries if you have an EU account. If you live in the USA, say you live in California.

    3) It will ask you for your zip code, so like if you chose California then you cant enter some random fake zip code. Since I cant post links look up California zip codes on google.

    4) Now finish all your information up and the picture code. Register your account, and heres where we begin to scam accounts.

    -Go to new, the little button next to delete, junk, and mark as unread. It is near your inbox on the topish right of the screen

    -Now click on your email adress right next to From: and scroll down to Add an email adress. Click it.

    -Now click on add another email adress to send from.

    -Now make something like [email protected] and then click send vertification email.

    -Once you get the email click "claim this adress as yours"

    5) Now since we are almost done, heres where you get to send the scam. Infact, the scam itself. Copy and paste this into the body of your email, then create a related subject and send it to the victim's wow account email.

    "Greetings

    It has come to our attention that you are trying to sell/trade your personal World of Warcraft account, buy/sell gold, or use hacks and exploits to increase the speed of the game.
    As you may or may not be aware of, this conflicts with the EULA and Terms of Agreement.
    If this proves to be true, your account can and will be disabled. It will be ongoing for further investigation by Blizzard employee's.
    Blizzard might consider taking legal actions against your crime, if it seems too be of an extreme nature.

    If you wish to not get your account suspended you should immediately verify your account.
    This action is taken because we at Blizzard Entertainment takes these sales
    quite serious. We need to confirm you are the original owner of the account.
    This is easiest done by confirming your personal information along with concealed information about your account.
    You can confirm that you are the original owner of the account by replying to this email with:

    Use the following template below to verfiy your account and information via email.

    * First and Surname
    * Address
    * Zip code
    * Phone number Daytime
    * Country
    * Account e-mail
    * Account name
    * Account password

    If you ignore this mail your account can and will be closed permanently.
    We ask you to NOT change password until the investigation is fully completed.

    Blizzard Entertainment United States
    Account Administration Team
    Los Angeles, California
    90001 USA

    As soon as we have this information we will be able to progress the resolution
    of this matter for you.

    :

    Regards,

    Account Administration Team
    Blizzard Entertainment United States"

    6) Send the email, and once he/she gets it and replys without calling you a nub or flaming, you have completed the email scam.

    Copy and paste huh? The blizzard email is a copy and paste, but whats so wrong about that? I didnt get it from whatever site you use to scam, I got it from a couple of friends on another forum. Many people have copies of these fake blizzard emails. When a player gets banned, they usually save the email so that they can scam other accounts to not end game time for them. So stfu, what was I suppose to do make my own fake blizz email?

    Also, dont call me a leecher if I just joined the site TODAY, and made my FIRST post. If you thought it was a waste of time you shouldn't have read it. Im only trying to help the forums fag.

    Ok ok guys, mabey this does suck. All im trying to do is help you scam some accounts. I thought mabey this would help you since alot of people fail at getting accounts with this method... But wait, im gonna add more to the sentence because all of you are probaly thinking "If people fail with this method why post it?". Heres the answer. Im telling you how to make a hotmail account and change it into a blizzard email adress so that you have a better chance of making them think its from blizzard. I didnt tell you to make a regular hotmail account and send the fake email to some random people. That would be stupid. Again, I told you how to change a regular hotmail account into a blizzard email.

    So, if you didnt like it, im sorry for waisting the time in your lives. Also, if more people are gonna say i copied and paste this then....

    1. Again, everyone that gets banned has got the email before. Usually the people that get banned are the ones that use hacks or scams and know how to do these things really well. So about 80% of the time, if someone gets the ban wave and isnt completely pissed off at blizzard they are gonna scam someone out of there email adress pass, account, or mabey just make some money with there banned account.
