Confirm Last Name on Account

First, the method of checking last name on accounts does not work anymore. That's why I'm posting this. I wasted two cd-keys.

I promise you it does not work. If you have an account you are 100% on the name (like your own.) Go ahead and make trial account with a name completely different than the one on your main account. While trying to transfer to the trial, regardless of the name on the account your error message will be "Cannot be trial". You will have then wasted you money on keys, unless they were stolen.

Here's the previous method.

Find Last name and test it.
1 - Make a trial account with the suspected last name.
2 - Go to the main account(1st), go through the transfer and select your toon.
3 - Check move to new account. Type in trial account name
4 - Hit ok. Previously if you got the error "Cannot be trial" the name was correct, if you got "ineligible" the name was wrong.

And this helps how? You didnt give a new method of verifying last names. All you did was copy pasted the old method and gave an example I KNOW I've read before.

You guys a scrubs that post to say it's a repost. This is not a repost this is a post telling you the method doesn't work anymore. I could careless about a non-working method. I thought I would share this information of a well known name checking method not working anymore.

Oh, sorry, didn't read the full post. You kinda gave the thread a bad title.

Hmm, that's strange, Blizzard may have redone the transfer check system a bit.

Sorry Backwell. I'd recommend you ask a mod to change the title to "Confirm Last Name - No Longer Works" or something.
