[Theorie] Wotlk Trailer Scam

Don't know if its a repost but I was just watching a Wotlk Trailer on Youtube when the idea came to me:


1. Just download this trailer, open it with a movie programm (vegas or wmm) and add a textscreen when the trailer ends, saying sth like:

Register now for free to be part of the Wotlk Beta Test at "YOURPHISHINGSITEHERE"..


2. Upload your Trailer on Youtube..


3. Get mass traffic on your phishing site = accounts



What do you think about it?

There may be enough nubs to register after watching the trailer, but I have no clue if this does work technically, it is just a theorie that came up to me while watching the video so don't flame me pls^^

Hmm, yeh, could work... But there are alot of WoW Wotlk Trailer on youtube, so not sure how you want to be your one to get populair...

Most people already know about all the WoTLK scams and dont trust anything they dont see directly from the official website. I suppose it would be worth a try, not a bad idea.

Just make another account, find ur WoTLK Trailer video and put 5 star rating as well as a comment saying 'Legit' after that it will be at the top of the 'WoTLK Trailer' search, and noobs will fall for it

Additionally make your account name sound blizzlike or any name that has sth to do with wotlk beta and link your video as video response to as many videos as possible,...
