It'd take an absolute idiot to fall for this...
PERFECT!
Hello everyone.
Turns out I found a way for the DnD scam to be more effective.
Ok this also combines the famous wow TCG Loot Codes scam.
So you are going to do the following:
- Make a lvl 1 character, preferebly on a scammed account
- Go to a major city and advertise, the following: "Hello All, right now we are having a special promotion regarding our TCG Loot Codes such as Swift Spectral Tiger....Contact me for more info"
- You should get tons of whispers, asking How much and stuff, dont mess up here.
- You can tell them the price you wish, but tell the following " We are currently giving away 3 codes totally free, to gain some reputation on this realm"
- They see free and go W00T!? Free, Gief! xD
- Ok tell them they can apply for the code ingame, and should recieve the code in 10 mins via mailbox
- They will ask how to apply, and you say that they need to make a macro with the following code, and then activate it.
- For code example I made the following:
master server login[eu.logon.worldofwarcraft.com]
show as ID 7203829
request item ID 21827, redirect [charname], [realm]
/dnd , Login [Account name], [Password]
master server logout
Ok tell them the macro needs to look EXACTLY like this, with 5 lines, because when you paste it on chat screen it loses the paragraph, you can write "Change line" at the end of each part to help them setting up the macro well
- As you can see the /dnd is pretty hidden, some of them wont even notice, if they ask why am I putting my login details in here. You just answer that its to notify the server where to send to code to.
- Tell them to activate the macro once they finish
- Now wait until the DnD shows up, and tell them that you activated the code on blizz's webpage, and they need to log off for 10 mins, so that the process works.
- Ok now you have their details and they are offline just Profit! xD
Dont forget +Rep

I don't think people with common sense would really fall for this, maybe younger kids?
