Not true, once they have access to ur account they will check if the char is really on there, believe me... I tried this sooo many times... I check before I say someting

It does not matter if you understand the First Method of the Scam,
the point is to give him the gold and he give you GameCard or buy you time on
his CreditCard, then you leave him, you don't have to wait till he logs on your character.

It depends on if you play on EU and depends on the rate of each month how much the gold
goes for, gold rate changes and drops. back then when BC first came out, it was 1k for 30+ USD
