Combining account scams.

Hi everyone, recently I once again found myself in the pickle of trying to scam someone, who was being overprotective with his account, which made me wonder what to do.

Firstly I would like to say that I am not taking credit for the following scams, this is simply an idea to increase you successfull scam %.

So, here we go:

I found my target on a trading site, this time MD.
I added him to msn and talked him up for about an hour.

I will not include msnlog to this post, as you all know these scams already.

Basicly my target was asking for to much infos, and was very careful with which he gave away.

Normally, at this rate your scam is bound to fail, but when I was browsing through these forums I saw posts that gave me an idea - Phishing sites.

I downloaded templates for a email and edited it for my needs, and then opened up a quick website-lookalike-blizzards.

I sent him the email with evil-page, and about an hour later, had him believe that I recieved one from blizzard as well.
I told him that I had phoned blizzard, and that they adviced me to follow the guidance of the email + link, and that they had approved my 'account verification'.

By doing this, I had him believe that the email was legit, thus causing him to enter his informations, scam SUCCESSFULL.

So... As I said, this is an idea of how to increase your successfull scam % by combining already known scams.

and obviously it depends on the victim, any scam does =) That is why claiming a scam to have a 100% chance of success is bullox :P

as I stated this improves the chance of scamming the victim of your choice, every scam can failed, depending on how your victim is, and how you perform the scam.

It's actually rather smart. If you have a tiny bit of social skills, he will fall for the phising mail.

OKAY ENOUGH! i have been on MMowned for some time and i got 15 rep, now im asking one of the stupidest questions. What is a phising site. i know by word its a kinda site that lookalike the real site, so you can scam players. i just want someone to really explain to me how this site works, i have seen some of the guides to make one, and i can't find out how to do BECOURSE i don't know how a phising site works and how to create it. In the guides it tells to put all your pictures into the side :S and if a victim goes to my site and see my girl friend on the front page i guess he will at that moment think about why the hell blizzard choose a trader site with my girl friend on xD!

so please someone PM me, add my alt MSN and we can talk about phising site, some pro one please. thanks alot !
