I'm not sure if this is a "scam", but atleast I use this on my rogue alot ;p
I wasn't sure wether to put this in Scam's or guides.
But if you think it's in the wrong forum feel to flame.
Anyway.
This scam isn't the best way to earn gold, but if your lucky it can prove to be quite effective.
When running an instance as a rogue you will of course be asked to pick any locked chest you encounter.
If you are asked by the party, simply tell them that you haven't bothered to learn lockpicking and that you get yours done by a friend/guildie.
Most partys will accept this without any fuss and carry on through the instance.
Once the instance is over or your party has decided to call it quits, run back to the chest and pick the lock.
Most of the time you'll earn between 10-15g easily. And sometimes you might get a blue which could net you 100g+ on the AH.
This scam probably won't impress alot of the hardcore scammers out there, and it isn't meant to. It's just a way of getting a little extra gold on your instance runs.
If your not impressed by the scam try to resist flaming me to hard.
I'm just looking to get out of leecher status.
Thanks.
