mmhhhmm.. I think i'll try this, and get back to you if it works =]
So this is a small idea I had. It can and probably will be updated. =]
Before you start this guide, you're going to have to set up a keylogger for your victim. So go ahead and install SC-KeyLog - The ultimate keylogger for monitoring local and remote computers in stealth (obtained from http://www.mmowned.com/forums/wow-sc...ging-scam.html) or any other keylogger and set it up. Upload it on Rapidshare.
Step 1
Create an alt and go to any major city.
Wait for a guild with a guild bank and forums to advertise their guild. Join them and go to their forums.
If you already know a guild with good loot in their guild bank and you know their forums URL, just head on over to their forums.
Step 2
On the forums, look for the guild master's profile. Since they are the ones that probably made the forums, their email will show. So go on ahead and write down/memorize the guild master's email and their character name.
Step 3
Head on over to mmoMailer.com - Ready, Set, Scam! and insert the guild master's email into the Target Email box.
For the message part, do SOMETHING like this.
Step 4Greetings,
It has come to our attention that you have a character named ______ on the realm ______ that is the guild master of ________.
We have recently developed a new extension to help you have better guild management. The guild interface will soon be going under construction for all, but you have been chosen to test it before we release it officially.
You can download the file at: http://rapidshare.com/blahblah blah
Once extracted, place the folder inside your World of Warcraft directory and you should be good to go.
As always, your feedback is appreciated. Send all concerns regarding this new extension to [email protected]. We look forward to what you have to say.
Regards,

Now, go check your keylogger logs for anything they typed and look around for a username and a password. Take the necessary security precautions, log in, clean out their bank, change their password, whatever you want.
Now do this as many more times as you wish because not all of them will fall for this.
Remember, this is just an idea. XD I'll add more if I think of anything else.
mmhhhmm.. I think i'll try this, and get back to you if it works =]
I doubt any GM is stupid enough to fall for that
agree with billz, i don't think a GM will believe that blizzard is using rapid share(especially a gm with a guild that has a rich bank)
Haha, yeah you'd have to be kind of stupid, but then again there was a guild bank theivery going on for weeks by some guy impersonating a member of the guild of high standing...

Good idea on how to get the email. Really never thought of it. +Rep!
Host it on your own Website
I was thinking about the Rapidshare thing, too.
You could add something in that letter that says "In order to prevent anyone else from searching our database to find the link, we decided to put it up on a different hosting site" blah blah. XD
Hosting it on your own website might work. Depends on how stupid the GM is.
Won't work. Ever.
Great just made over 20k gold from one bank =) thanks
Awesome Idea.. tho I have really never used a keylogger and I dont know how to make it work
Doubt it would work, Good Idea though.
It will work. People have to understand that NO scam will work EVERY time. This is a good idea if you can set it up properly. Tomorrow I'll work on a tutorial on how to set up SC-Keylogger, which is my favorite.
Thanks for the great post!
