This is the most important guide in this forum because it takes away all fear of being caught. You'll finally sleep at night. And you will be safe, secure. And still free to do whatever evil doing you want.

There are many other guides to being safe here, but they all lack in, well, everything. This is complete. You will have taken almost every precaution, instead of the simple "go to proxy.org and pick one!"

This is rather long, but it is worth it. After reading this and doing these steps, NONE of you will EVER have to make a thread asking if you're safe, whether or not you'll be caught. No, never again.

After doing these steps, you will be using a fast VPN while surfing through a safe, protected, and most of all anonymous web browser that stores all your information in a secure server. Think of like a proxy within a proxy. You will be connected through someone else's wi-fi so even if they trace you, it won't be you they're tracing. You will be blocking millions of unsafe ip addresses from yours. Your computer itself will be registered with false information that they cannot link to you. You will be safe from all virtual attacks (in case someone gets angry and finds you out). Your machine ID will be changed daily and be completely random, so that no one can keep track of who your machine is. Any information that they will communicate (knocking down doors, calling phones, e-mailing) with will NOT be yours and will NOT be fake either, thus misleading whoever is chasing you to the wrong people. They will not be able to take a look at the contents of your hard drive without a password that YOU CHOOSE that you DON'T HAVE TO GIVE. They CANNOT crack this password. It is impossible. Nothing in your hard drive can be used as evidence to incriminate you. Nothing can be traced to you.

You will be safe.

You will be invisible.

You will be untouchable.





1. This is very important. Don't use firefox, internet explorer, or safari. Use an anonymous web browser. This web browser will store your information, cookies, and cache on a secure server. This will hide your IP. This will protect you just as a proxy would, and more. Download e-capsule private browser now. All the information the browser receives from your computer can ONLY be opened and examined with your password you specify. And your constitutional rights say that you don't have to give a password to ANYONE no matter what the circumstances. And it's very fast too since it's on a secure server, I use it instead of firefox now.

2. This is also very important. Download PrettyGoodPrivacy or PGP. PGP Corporation - Hard Disk Encryption, File Encryption, Secure ftp Server, Hard Drive Encryption, Enterprise Data Protection for information. It encrypts your entire hard drive. No one will be able to open whatever private files you have that may incriminate you in any way with your consent. PGP uses an unique algorithm that not even the GOVERNMENT or FBI can crack. It was proven in a case where a man suspected of child pornography had PGP encrypting his hard drive, and he was not convicted because they couldn't open the files to see if they were child pornography without the man's password. He did not give up his password. You will not give up your password. The constitution defends your right to withhold it, and they won't be able to run one thing on your hard drive without it.

3. Back up your system and system restore. Register your PC with completely false and misleading information, and then restore your system. This is optional but if you really want to be completely secure, you should do it. And if you're not lazy.


4. Connect to someone else's wi-fi. In this day and age, as long as you don't live in the woods, you're bound to have at least a couple hotspots / neighbors. Even if it is secure, it's quite simple to hack into them, but I won't tell you how. Google it.


5. Screw tor, hidemyip, and all the manual proxies. They're slow, ineffective, and well, just stupid. It's also ****ing annoying having to type in the URL to every website you want to visit in the proxy itself. Virtual Private Networks are where it's at. And you CAN get them for free.

You will be connected to the VPN. It will be fast because it's private and not public like the manual proxies. And you don't have to go to a specific website. You use the application or connect to the server and you will be connected to the VPN in EVERYTHING you do. Not just surfing the web. Playing a game and you cheated? They will not ban your IP because you will be connected to the VPN. Everything you do that requires the internet will use the Virtual Private Network's address. You will be completely secure.

There are also other ways of getting VPNs that actually cost money for free, but my own personal way will probably be blocked if many people use it. So no releasing to the public.


6. Use HTTPS instead of HTTP in your URLs whenever possible. It's more secure. Much more secure. For example: https://gmail.com instead of http://gmail.com


7. SPOOF YOUR MAC ID AMONG OTHER THINGS. Download MacMakeup at Mac MakeUp - MAC Address spoofing tool. It changes your machine ID and assigns you a random one. I do this... daily.


8. Never use any of your real information when signing up for accounts. But better yet, use misleading information. Write an actual telephone number, an actual address. Googlemaps is a great place to find these things. Search for some business building or a corporate office and use their information. I suggest using their information for every account per scam, then changing to a new one. Or use a phone number from one company, then the address of another. They'll contact this information, maybe even pop in for a visit. And they won't be doing it to you.


9. Download Kapersky's Internet Security full suite. It will protect you against anything and everything malicious online.

I myself run dual firewalls. Nod32 also. Rather effective.


10. Download Peerguardian and Protowall. They block millions of unsafe IPs (like government ones) from yours. It is normally used for torrents, but it wouldn't hurt.

11. When you're done and not using your PC, disconnect your internet access and turn your PC off. If you have a dynamic IP, reset your modem so you get a new one.

This depends what Ball Game you are playing, scamming accounts will just get them banned or returned, but.. Money etc, I suggest you follow mynameis's advice. I would +rep you but i did for your last thread.

This is a rather serious guide, I think its not made for small time scams. it will make you a true "anonymous" while online. and can possibly be used for stuff far beyond scams. I am going to both rep you and save this guide. never know when this may be useful.

But I'm pretty paranoid and I do scam for money, which is dangerous, and that led me to taking EVERY precaution possible. Now I don't have to worry about a thing.

After seeing many of the "Help! Will I get caught?" threads and posts I decided to make the guide. Using a public proxy may not be enough anymore.

Good stuff, but still if you're scamming money and not accounts, a library or Starbucks is where it's at, regardless of how safe you think you are in your home. For accounts and such, I'd definitely follow this advice, plus Rep..
