Ok, I saw the other thread about buying them, carefully peeling it, then returning it, but here's a much easier and quicker way, but if you get caught you'll get a bit of a fine. Ok, so first, get some of your friends (reaql-life) who will agree to protect you while you do it. Go into a huge store that will sell game cards, such as target. Go in early, soon after they open, adn go to the aisle with the cards (probably with games or magazines as well) Just start hanging around with your friends, occasionally making comments about different games or magazines you see. Then have two of your friends go to the end of the aisle and keep watch, but look normal. Then very quietly get a time card. Open it while your other friends stand very near to you, to protect against cameras. Open the time card and either take a picture (on your cell) or write down the code. Put the game card back at the vary back or in the wrong place. Leave. Use card. Have fun.
I'll gladly accept and critique, goodor bad :fu:.

GeT oFf My NuTs!
Hmm.. yeah, and I feel sorry for the poor guy who actually buys the one you stole the code off of. haha.
Well thats pretty obvious if you ask me i mean iv been done it about 6 timesim not proud. DAM YOU BLIZZARD YOU HAVE TURNED ME TO A LIFE IF CRIME TO FUEL MY ADDICTION!!!!
I wouldn't do that, because you will most likey be caught. I remember my friend stealing whole decks of Yu-Gi-Oh cards a while back hehehee...
You will eventually get caught, its justa matter of time. I did the same thing but for when i would play counter strike. Luckely they just sent me home with my tail between my legs as i shit my pants. Ever since then i have not tried to steal one thing. But the whole peeling off the scratch thingy and carefully placing it back on is tempting, plus it reduces your chances of getting arrested.
GOD put me on this planet to accomplish certian tasks. At this rate i will never die. CLOAK OF SHADOWS FTW!!!!6):
Right that's why I said put it in the vary back of the shelves, preferablyy in the wrong aisle, so nobody will buy it. And to the other guys, yeah I said it was very riskyOriginally Posted by WaddleFish

well as i see it at that point, you just might as well steal the card lol. the reason for buying the card is so that no one sees you trying to get the code. then you just return it. but you might as well just take the cards out of the box and throw them in your pocket. its so risky to do this at a store, as i see it. and if an employee sees the box in the wrong isle, they will just return it to its rightful spot eventually. if thats the case, just take the whole box, card too, and hide it in the store somewhere, where it will never be found, like behind something heavy that is never moved.
i just take them. its quicker.
Thought i do not approve this, making a pic with your cellphone is pretty smart
i thought game cards have to be activated at the register, dont they???
nope, they do not. i dont believe. but a lot of places have the cards behind the counter, and you only get them once you purchase the card. that is why i think at least, its better to take it home and do it that way.
Nope, I have recieved one for my birthday, I used it on my computer. And at the traget that I go to, they have a section for computer games (which is where they are) and next to it are kiddy games that no one ever buys. Put the card back in there.Originally Posted by supercuts
And maybe wear shades and a hoody when you do it to hide from cams...
