[Thoughts] IDEAS to get account name changed.

Few days ago I scammed a decently geared 70 rogue with about 3000g, I do not want to buy a new account, so I was thinking of how to get my account name changed.

One of my ideas is say that you have recently got married, (you only need to change the last name on account) and ask if they could update your contact info. Only problem is you would have to be a girl...so I was thinking of maybe getting my sister to do it.

Or you can pretend to be gay, but they would probably ask for legal files (Marriage papers etc etc)

I got the email changed, but I dont want to pay for 2 WoW's every month

I wonder if I could call them and say that I accidently put my middle name not my last name as see if it can get changed.

You'd have to supply VALID ID to get it changed, and probably legal papers as well.

Lol that is interesting concept but all in all it would prob be quiecker to just scam another person, or use that post that is currently up or use the white pages to get the last name.

i think they would ask for some legal papers and documents, before changing your acc name...they dont just change it like that ::/

yea the whole i got married can only work like 5% of the time but the witness protection is a good one.

You would have better luck trying to get the account name you log in with changed. they would probably consider this a possible account compromise, lock the account, and send account retrieval instructions to the registered email. if you didnt mind prison you could just make a fake birth certificate of the owner, but not worth an account imo
