Trial Account scam, Good sucsess rate.

This is a little scam I created and have been using with some sucsess, So I have decieded to make it public for all of you mmownded people to enjoy .
Step One: Go to 10-Day Free Trial and create a trial account, Now you NEED To make the information as believeable as possible.

Step Two: Find your victim, Go to whatever WoW trading site you perfer and find your victim, Don't go after the ones with 100 trades under their belt and request a middleman, Try and find the ones with low level characters their trading,Or the ones with very bad gear. Personally I found I had alot of sucsess going after the lower level people, IE 45-6x.

Step Three: Once you find your victim, Add them to msn then Pm them telling them that you have a so-so geared 70 (Your best bet is probably saying some or full s1). If he is a horde, Make up an alliance character, If he is an alliance, make a horde.

Step Four: It's time to go armory hunting! go to The World of Warcraft Armory and pick out some poor sap whos gear best matchs your discription of your fictional character, Now take a screenshot of said character while on armory,
Open the screenshot up in paint and edit the name and server out (The victim might ask why you don't just give them a direct link, Tell them it's just for security reasons, Like, You've done it before and your account got banned
Because the trade didn't work out and the guy told blizzard.)

Step Five: Catch your victim on MSN/AIM, start up a little conversation with them. Ask the following questions to seem more of a legit trader: So why are you trading? Have you ever been reported on that account?
Whats your server repuation if any. After you ask them and they respond, Answer your own questions, I found that these answers work the best: Well my friend from a guild I was in a long time ago just got me on aim
and told me that he was playing horde (Assuming they're horde.) on "so and so" server. Yeah, I got a warning once because someone scammed me outta enchanting mats and i called em a douche. My server rep is so-so, But I'm not on any high ratedarena teams and I'm not in an end game guild.

Step Six: Tell them this is how you wanna exchange info so you can both change it and be on with your lives, Link him to https://www.worldofwarcraft.com/acco...e-contact.html then say, Ok, on the count of 5
we'll both say our username, 1,2,3,4,5 bam, give him the user name of your trial account. Ok, now say, On the count of 5, we'll give each other our passwords, 1,2,3,4,5 bam,Give him your trial accounts pass, Your in. Now, If your kinda freaked because your account is a trial,Don't be, The link we gave him, https://www.worldofwarcraft.com/acco...e-contact.html, Will link him directly to the contact info page, He won't even know you're on a trial as long as he goes to that link. (One of my victims actually asked me,Why we couldn't just go to account management and I made up some bullshit that blizzard tracked ips based on who logs directly onto the page, not by who logs onto change-contact info page.)

Step 6.1: ONLY do this step if your victim doesn't use the "https://www.worldofwarcraft.com/acco...e-contact.html" link, If they put up a fight to using it, Trade info and bam, you're in, Instantly change his account password and block him, If he recalls the account,
Oh well.

Step 7: Tell him to type out his cd-key and get ready to hit enter on 5, And you'll do the same, aaaaaa-aaaa-aaaaaa-aaaa-aaaaaa, That is the format cd-keys follow in terms of size, Throw in some numbers and leters, Then tell him to type out his full name and you'll do the same.
Now say, We'll exchange SQ/answers on 5, Exchange them. (If he's not the OO and doesn't know the Cd-key, **** it.)

Step 8: Trading Info, So now you're looking at his contact info sheet, Say, Ok, On the count of 5, we'll put in our new emails then accept them for each other, but first open up your email so you can accept it asap, I'll do the same,
1,2,3,4,5 type in your new email phone and address and tell him you accepted his, Which you did on your trial accounts email account =), He should at this point accept it and change the accounts email to yours.

Step 9: Change his password on him, Block him off msn/aim, Enjoy your new account. He can't recall it very easily as you have the CD-key, The SQ-answer, his full name and you changed his place of residence and phone number on him =).

Here's a few tips, If the guy says, Uh wtf why does it say it's a trial account, Change his pass, Block him and clear his account out as soon as possible.
The most crucial part of this scam is having him GO DIRECTLY TO THIS LINK https://www.worldofwarcraft.com/account/change-contact.html, Tell him to stay on that page so the new info saves correctly.
Now, here's a little tip I figured out after about my 3rd scam, I would logon with them, acting like I was legit, Then change their pass on their account then tell them to enter their new email so we could change ours around,
Then I said, Ah crap I hit enter twice, Just do the last one I sent I guess.
If at any point the user stops responding, That means he probably went to the main account page and realised he's getting scammed, change his info do w/e log on and clean his account out. After this sent a phishing email to him =).
Like I said, Your prime victim is someone in bad gear or a lower level, the chances of them recalling is likely but because you changed all the info on them, They won't be able to get it back, If they do, call blizzard and say you were hacked you think,
read them off all the info the guy gave you, SQ/answer CD-key, Address And Full name, Because you have the cd-key you'll get your password sent to you.

My sucssess rate is about 7 accounts with characters above level 50.

TLR version:

Step1: Create a WoW trial account.

Step2: Find a victim off a trading site.

Step3: Add them to msn and say you have a XX (class) with XXXX gear.

Step4: go to the world of warcraft armory and find a character that somewhat resembles the one you described in step 3.

Step 5: Conversate with victim on MSN.

Step 6: Link him to https://www.worldofwarcraft.com/acco...e-contact.html, Demand he log in like this. On the count of 5 you and him both say Username, Then do the same with the password.

Step 7: Now before you actually trade info, Tell him it's time to exchange cd keys and SQ/answers, On the count of 5, You both exchange him.

Step 8: On the count of 5 you both put in your new emails on the contact sheet then you both accept the email changes. (Make sure you change his phone number and street adress also)

Step 9: Change his password and block him off MSN/aim, Wait for him to attempt to recall the account, Then call up blizzard claiming you've been hacked, Give them your street adress, Phone number, Cdkey, and SQ/answer, and enjoy your new account.

To get all of his info, It's crucial that you tell him to log in using the link I provided, If he does not, Change his password and clean his account out.

Well, you're pretty much gaurantee'd a password and a username as long as you follow it, However sometimes the user will bypass the link you give them, Thats why you should change the password asap.

If you follow the guide directly, And the trader stays at the page, It's pretty much gaurantee'd that you'll get atleast most of their info out of them =).

And by the way, If they catch what you're trying to do, Clean out their account and send them a phishing email that states to them that you know they're trying to trade their and account and that you request their info.

Um, You Don't actually log on the trial =\, You find an account trading website, PM them ON THE FORUMS for them to add you to their msn. I advice you never actually log on the trial account. =\

Looked up trial account scam and found nothing that matchs my scam, So Don't know what to tell you.

Actually just looked at your scam, The only thing they share is using the armory and using a trial account. You don't have them log on your account using the link I provided in my scam, I really don't see how they're the same other than the fact A. They're both scams..B. They both use armory (Like 2 million other scams) and C. They both use trial accounts. They're actually very different but thats assuming you actually took the time to read it instead of just claiming it as your own.
