Taking Advantage of Server Transfers

Just recently I followed the "Selling TCG" code scam, and it worked very very well.

So, people have said that if you delete a character, then remake it, it confuses Blizzard. Well, what if you simply transfer it? (Obviously not paid transfer).

Oceanic servers currently have a free transfer to Dreadmaul.

Scam --> Transfer --> Delete --> Repeat.

Just my 2 cents.

Could you also combine this with having a friend on that realm make a low level character the same name as your scammed account so blizz is forced to let you rename the scammed char? Wouldn't that aid in the concealment?

I'm not sure if they do it that way though. They could just delete the low level char.

Thats a good idea. Then once transferred, make another character, same name, on the original server.

Thus creating 2 chars same name, one which must have its name changed.

well you need to be level 10 to be eligible for transferring (maybe 11), so i guess if you took the time to do so it would be allright...

I've done this several times on level 70 characters using the TCG Scam. When I was planning on transferring I would just get the transfer page up, spam in trade to sell the mount... most people believed me as I was on a level 70 character with good gear and it was much easier getting them to trust me that way rather than convincing them on a level 1. After they give me the gold I would give them a fake card code then logout and transfer the character to the new server.

I'm not sure if it's traceable or not but I never had any whispers/mail's when I've done it this way, when I've done it on a level 1 or something along those lines without any protection method I've had the gold taken back from me so I assume since it was a transfer it's hard to track down or at least take away.

Be sure to get all the mail out of your inbox and not have any auctions up so the transfer goes smooth and you don't get caught in the process.

you can delete the character a million times you'll still get banned even if you transfer you will still get banned =p
