yea as its already been stated:

rank in my opinion for 2's:
1. warlock, SL/SL or UA- reason: you can't go wrong with a lock they are dominating 2s and 3s
2. rogue, reason: they have a decent amount of CC and can lock down a healer if need be they also have a decent amount of escape opportunities
3. Feral Druid, reason: incredible survivability and can pop out and heal, you need a good one that can kite, know how to heal, and cyclone effectively this will probably be the hardest partner to find
4. Another frost mage - This grp handles melee like a red headed step child with 2 pets 2 counterspells 2 sets of novas and 2 sheeps it will eat bad comp's for breakfast if you both are decent you can prob get around 1.8k to 2k the ones listed above are 2k+ if played well

Mage + Healer is worthless. If you want to break 1800 rating then don't match up with another frost mage. Spec deep frost with 17 in Arcane and pick up a Feral Druid as a partner - and by feral druid I mean a druid that goes cat and knows how to play.

Your basic setup will be sheep healer (unless it's again a resto druid combo) and focus on the DPS class he's with. Druid stealths out the gate and you invis out, druid will target the healer, you assist him to target, get ready to sheep, the druid pounces the DPS class and then starts work on him while you pop out of invis and sheep. DPS + burn them down, when the DR on Sheep starts to wear (after about three sheeps or two and a trinket) then call out for the druid to cyclone. If it's a pally and he bubbles have the druid shift out, war stomp and cyclone the DPS class and then go travel, and LOS him around either pillars (Nagrand and BE) or back in your starting room. Mage should blink, get out of combat, and evo at this time if it's up. Druid should have only used travel to get out of range, and then stayed cat and stealthed to make sure healer/caster dps doesn't drink. Repeat the process and kill the DPS and you win.

Against a two DPS team then you're going to want to sheep whichever one can CC - if it's a mage/warlock team then sheep the mage and cyclone the lock, while he's cycloned start work on his pet, if you kill the pet then move onto the lock, which if Soul Link should have lost most of his strength, if he summons another pet /w Fel Dom don't be afraid to sheep lock and cyclone mage to kill the pet. Frost Mage/Feral Druid just owns - make sure your feral druid shifts out to tranq whenever someone drops below 50%, especially if it's him, or you have to block to stay up.
