Possible trick for hunters? NBoots/Disengage/Parachute?

So I was doing 2's with a friend of mine and we came across this hunter priest team.

My partner had the hunter and all of of sudden, he disengages into the air and starts kicking the crap out of my 2's partner. Since he's melee there's nothing he can do it about it.

I'm guessing...
Nitro Boots
Disengage
Paracute?

Anyone confirm/deny?
I searched for a post on it and couldn't find anything.

It's not possible to use any engineering stuff inside arenas anymore, sadly?

All the NB and nade fun in arenas are over, as i reckon?

I might be wrong, but as i remember it got nerfed not so long after i finally got my engineering leveled

This was pre-3.3.3, so... Probably. Haha.

Im playing a hunter myself, and yes, you can disengage + parachute, how ever, nitro boots have been disabled in arena, hope this helped

You can only use rocket gloves and as far as i know.. the engineering haste enchant on gloves in arena, unfortunately nothing else engineering related. I loved in TBC seeing people using the 310% speed boots to get from one side of Nagrand to the other in a few seconds, heh
