40man sure were fun. Still miss them to this very day. Sad that they are not coming back. I wonder if they'll every release a 30man tho.
I don't miss 40 man raiding at least not Molten Core and Blackwing Lair where half the raild could go afk and leech items and dkp etc.
yes i agree 40 mans were pointless because of the amount of time it took for members to be on and such
Never tried 40m, but looking at the difference of 10 and 25m i can see what 40m's were.
40mans are dead due to blizz catering to the causal people. PvP and PvE are now all worked around casual players. This is due to the fact that the majority who play are casual and or are bad.
The most I'v ever taken part in was 25-man. It took hours to assemble on private servers without a guild, let alone 40... sure would love to try it on retail tho.
40 mans were cool for a while but you quickly grew tired of it. If the raid was heavy on ranged casters it was pretty sweet to watch though.
"Nti" for short.
I'm rock. Scissors are fine, nerf paper.
Ya i dout 40 man raids to come back, finding the correct amount of players was a pain but once we do get em it was awsome
I doubt blizzard will make another 40man again.
Id have to say my favorite is BWL, the bosses are still fun even at 80. And nefarian is still wipeable at 80, + elementium ore ftw
40 mans were fun but it started to be the downfall of many guilds, loss of interest, and too much time spent trying to finish a 40 man. 25 man was made so that you dont have to work as hard to get members in there.
Emerald Dream has a 40-man playercap in the last patch. (DBC)
BWl was really fun, AQ40 aswell but ig you wiped in there you had a looong way to run back at certain points.
