The people who care about other people finding out exploits are the people who like to show them off to their friends and pretend they got huge epeens.
When we posted the method to GM Island a few Nogger's got pissed.. Epeen shrinkage much?

Don't blame any site for it getting patched.. If it's a bug/exploit/glitch.. It's meant to be fixed, thats what we pay 14.95 a month for. Don't like it? Don't play.

It's not so much that it's e-peen shrinkage, but it's more of expanding the number of people who do it so much that it becomes noticable, and then it does get banned. When stupid people get a whole of things, they do stupid stuff, and then they get banned for it and whine.

I sincerely doubt Nogg cares about it's epeen, as much as it cares about the wrong people getting a hand on the wrong files. I honestly doubt the judgment of some of the people on the forums sometimes, and can expect some of them to be the morons floating in the air in the middle of Ironforge because their campfire is now the Dark Portal.

You can't say they're bad people because they didn't want to let people with malicious intents to get a hold of the files.

I always kinda figured Nogg would die. For the most part... It was in a coma.. Had almost nothing but spam... It was only a matter of time before they offically shut it down...

I used to respect them... Then they came off as a bunch of douchebags thanks to some of their members coming here and showing off their "elite-ness", which we uncovered in time in most cases. Then when I went back, I started up a rally basicly, got the Admins going, got members flaming me... Then as I spent more time there many of them showed they weren't all arrogant elite show offs, and very few acctually were. Just as I was starting to enjoy myself there, they go and close down...

I'm not saying that Blizzard ignores Nogg, or refresh mmowned. I'm saying that its much more likely to fall into the wrong hands because ANYONE can get it. That means things will be more available, and more people will get it, and it will be abused more, drawing the attention of Blizzard to the problem more rather than a small private community's use would.

If you're paying $15 a month to abuse the game mechanics and create an unfair advantage over other players, I think you may be playing the game for the wrong reasons.

I was never a member of nogg but it is sad to see it go. I hear all about it through my "lurk-dom" and was always interested but just never got the chance. All I hope now is that this site doesn't go anywhere! I'm definitely not even close to as smart as some of you who can model edit and spend the time to find ways to do what the game did not intend, but I do try to learn what I can off of the site. I'll admit that I've used the "Get on top of the SW cathedral" a couple times to impress friends

Anyways, if the site was going downhill then I guess a new start isn't such a bad thing. I'm just curious what's not going to bring the same people who brought down the site to the new board.

Ok, personally I really didn't know who N.A. were, except for a few things here and there. I truly don't care they are gone, as the only model editors I have known, are: A_Snake01, Bloodofwar, and KuRIoS.
I heard that they were once good, but then started to suck and ruin it. To those that knew/cared about them, I am sorry for your loss.
