Legendary bow finally seen

This weapon is crap...

Because it doesn't use arrows, it loses alot of DPS, because much of a weapons DPS comes from the arrows you load into it...

eg. take illidan bow (100 dps) and put epic arrows into it (43 dps), and you have a 143 dps bow in total

So really, this "legendary" bow is a piece of crap.

But, it does have a high damage range so you will be seeing MM hunters orgasming over 5k aimed shot crits with this bow

Steady shot isnt affected by arrows in the first place yet it's a HUGE part in any raiding hunters rotation,
this bow is truly legendary and hunters will see a tremendous increase in dps.

i'm about 75% sure this will be a quest reward for downing kil'jaeden or Kil'jaeden will drop something which starts a quest for hunters to get this because I dont see Class:Hunter on it and that makes me feel that some retarded rogue or warrior is gonna ninja it

Uhhh... it doesn't suggest ANYWHERE that it creates arrows. The effect of ranged attack speed does not stack with the quiver RAS, but the quiver is still necessary. If there was no quiver it would no longer be a bow, and thus become a wand that looks like a bow.

Legendary bow
The legendary bow is indeed named Thori'dal (and supposedly drops from Kil'jaeden). And since everyone will ask for a proof, here are the spell IDs for some of the bonuses. (The spell names and bonuses are directly from the patch released today)

44972 : Legendary Bow Haste - Increases ranged attack speed by 15%. Does not stack with quiver or ammo pouch haste effects.
46699 : Requires No Ammo - Thori'dal generates magical arrows when the bow string is drawn. Does not use ammo.

There are the spell IDs, it does generate arrows for itself. This bow will be amazing in the fact that it frees up an entire bag space, has a very large impact on Steady Shot, and the other stats on it are very nice as well.

Notice also that it says nowhere on the tooltip that it is hunter only. This will be very nice for many classes, not just hunters, though I would assume Hunter gets priority unless your guild is retarded.
