    [Technical Issue] Help me please

So, I (attempt to) play wow on my desktop through a wireless internet connection. I Have comcast 6MB/S. I have disabled my firewall and opened the ports on my router. If I make a new character I usually start out with 300 M/S, Which is still playable all be it a little bit higher than I would like to see it. however, If I go near anybody My latency jumps up to ~10000 M/S and I get disconnected, I tested this on three different servers and I dont know what I can do further than this. So... any ideas? Im going through withdraws.

    Edit:
Forgot to mention that I play xbox live through the computer without lag at all
