I play on the US servers. Mostly because most of my friends from my home town play on the same server, and it's a good way to keep in touch when I have time to login.

Yeah, you just have to buy/trade for an EU account, both servers are located same place so there will be no more lag than there usually is.

i play privates cause they are AWESOME, but honestly its because im saving for a new PC

before privates I was on US (but Im from New Zealand, weird huh? i mean not a single New Zealand server, cept for those fancy pacific servers kil' jaeden laggiest server ever created (created with the last MB's of their ultra computer and is partly stored on a 1 gig flash drive - thats what i think anyway ) level 60 pally soon to be 70 hopefully
