New forums renovation at markeedargon to reduce scamming

On the front page of markeedragon they posted a new video telling us about the new format they are installing on Sunday night. They are implementing features that help track posters down to the city level. Don't know how effective this is going to be while using proxies but it's an interesting feature.

Also, they might be not allowing aim/msn screenposts allowed into selling posts that is similar to what realpoor.com uses.

    Some intersting news for scammers.

I'll be following this very closely. Thanks for the information.

Actually, if you don't post in the scammers thread, there is still no chance of finding you.

Exactly, I never post on traded sites, i just look for people with under 10 posts 0 rep that leave their screen names. You cannot get IP's through AIM. If you get any IP it's the IP of the AIM screen name you connect too. And AOL does not give out personal information unless requested by law enforcement. And that will never ever happen from scamming wow accounts.

yeah their attempts to stop scammers is nothing really big, only thing they can do is just how it was before to see if they are trustwho verified which costs like $7.50

Looks like the update didnt do much, people are still posting aim screen names so it makes it easy to contact potential targets.
