Because i dislike alliance. And as a horde i dont have to chat/deal with as many 12 year olds, i know most of em rolls alliance =D (not saying you are 12year olds )

It really depends on the server. My server most Alliance are older and the Horde are the little kids. You can tell when you PvP, because when an arrow or magic cast is headed there way they try to jump to avoid it. Just like in most FPS games. The older gen are the ones that just stand there and take it because they know its going to hit and hit hard and are formulating their next attack so they don't get hit again. At least that is how I see it. Don't get me wrong I see Alliance do it to as well, just not as much.

I picked Alliance and the stereotypical NE Hunter. I have always liked the Ranger class from DnD and was always a Half Elf, half Human Ranger. so naturally I just brought that character to WoW.

You would say that coming from a Shaman. Shaman vs Hunter is a very old rivalry.

Just picked allinace night elf because my brother was.. I have tried a horde char to many times, but it never, never workd out.
