Model Changing question! :)

Greetings people! I have been looking around this site for quite some time now and i just looove some of the 'Model Changes' people around here do. But now i was wondering, can one be banned for using one of these selfmade MPQ files? Especially ones that change a race to race? Or those that change the look of a piece of armor into a different piece? Right now i'm still at my level 61's and don't really like the different color every piece of my armor has : /. And to be honest, i dont really enjoy playing my Blood Elf anymore... but sadly thats the only race that can roll paladin on horde side. So i wanted to try one of these edits but im not sure if i should... i mean, i wouldnt want to get banned for this o.O And is that one program called WoWeditfix or whatever needed to run model/race edits? Can somebody with experience help me out here? Thanks! -Model editing noobie. And uhm, sorry if this text looks like a wall of text... i dont think i figured out how posting on this forum works well yet. :P

Everything on this site is bannable in some way, but model changing isn't really bannable if you use it in the right way.. That is, not changing Camp Fire into AQ stairs or anything like that.

If you use it to change gear, mounts etc, it's really safe to use.
