Will having regular WoW mess this up?

I play normal paid for WoW as well as on my private server. I was wondering, will having normal WoW effect having a private server?

I figured it was as easy as just backing up my norm wow folder then just installing a hack patch to the non-backed up folder. And I could just switch out the folder depending on what I'd like to play.

But lately, neither wow's will load for me? Keeps telling me it's missing model.mpq anyone know why this is happening? Well nevermind I know it's cause I'm missing that file, so anyone know where I could get it?

Or how to fix this completely?

maybe run the repair tool in the World of Warcraft folder? other than that i have no clue because i have never had this problem or ever owned a private server. gl with it though.

I tried using the Repair tool, and it checked everything etc. but the error is still there. I try to load it and BAM! tells me I'm missing model.mpq then it crashes etc.

You could try reinstalling WoW.
