    Re: Real Blizzard Email?

This IS NOT a blizzard email. If it was they would already know your account name of all things and the biggest tip is that they have you reply to their account admin email ([email protected]) and not to their actual representatives. I suggest you do send a message to the official account admin email from your registered wow email and ask if blizzard had requested information for any account registered to that email, and request that it be sent by a new representative if they did ask. DO NOT REPLY TO [email protected]!

    Edit: Problem #2:
"Please reply from your account's registered email address with the information in the following fields:"
Blizzard would only have sent the email to the one registered with the account, IT'S THE ONLY ONE THEY HAVE!

    Re: Real Blizzard Email?

If you had just forgotten your seceret question then why do you think it is not from blizzard. Even if this was from a said scammer, how would he/she know that you sent in a request for your secret question?

    Re: Real Blizzard Email?

CS dosen't always send from DNR. I've gotten a few from the actual CSRs. Also, I'm pretty sure that blizzard dosen't send emails over wireless internet and that people don't sift through the gigs of gmails sent out every day (and text files are VERY small). And they don't just email you your secret question because in a bad account trade, someone could use their email after it had been switched to them to just ask for the secret question.

    Re: Real Blizzard Email?

Ok, they a scammer COULD have intercepted the packets, but to solve this just send them a message through their blizzard customer support webform , and ask that they send out a new email from a different representative. Also if you get another suspicious email, reply to the CSR and say I will not email the information directly to you, but will email it to customer support webform, and do so.
