Well, even though there are human beings in WoW...you can't miss the birth of your own child for any game. And very few people are THAT addicted.

I think its pretty obvious. I don't think the people behind the scenes organizing these shows and all have seriously played WoW.

Its the social aspect with Guilds and other players. Having deep connections and responsibilities in the game can cause this sort of thing. For instance getting into a heavy raid schedule where you are a key member. You get to the point where you can't miss those events. Making commitment to other players can do the same thing. Also, with people constantly logging on and off, if someone has a large network of friends and players they interact with, they could stay on 24/7 talking, playing, and interacting with them.

I love it, tyra banks is trying to grasp what in the hell are computers and WoW. I do like that shes says "He pays more attention to the computer than the you" like shes expecting an answer other than "it sucks".

1. I'm not defending the guy, he needs to spend more time on his family. If he likes WoW enough he shouldn't stoping it but he should take a break from time to time.
2. He should get creative like some parents I played with did, I once quested with a guy wh said "brb, My daughter is crying and instead of him AFKing for the needed few hours to calm a baby down he brought it over and played while comforting the baby.
