Did I just screw myself over?

I scammed a dude for 800g, bought out 500g worth of another account's stuff on the AH, deleted char.

Signed on to the other account, but when I check the mail it says buyer found, but no gold shows up in the message bar, just the fact that it was bought.

Since I deleted the scammer character before I actually had the gold in my other dude's backpack, am I out of luck? Or will it show up eventually?

It should show up, since on the scammer char had bought the item and it was coming in the mail.

Well it shows up in my mail as a pending sale, but unlike my other pending sales there's nothing in the message, just that it's there. My other pending sales have who bought it in the message, how much, etc. The scamming ones don't.

buyout doesn't take time, only bid does. if BO would take time, it would be so huge shit, that ppl wouldn't use ah, they'd do like in L2.
