Help hiding wow from my dad menu

    Help hiding wow from my dad

    Ok my dad sucks with computers so i really dont even need to hide it on my comp, the way he un installs things is by going to add and remove programs from the control panel...i need to know how to hide WoW from that menu or change the name of what appears on that menu so he wont reckognze it

    I dont think you can remove it from the list. You COULD rename the WoW file to be called something else through properties... but i do not know. This might also mess up the targeting that blizzard downloader uses ( i know something funny happened when i set up my private server). Try going into properties and renaming WoW school research paper or something. If your dad isnt good with comps, he wont know that a paper should be a document, not an application.

    Copy and paste your WHOLE wow folder to your docs or somthing, i THINK this will work.

    backup ur entire WoW folder, uninstall it from that list then copy it back?

    Just copy you entire wow folder like marlo said and place it anywhere then uninstall you wow and use the copy paste version it will work with no problems

    Start+search+wow = grounded :-P
