Question about banwaves

1. Do banwaves specifically only target botters or are gold sellers / exploiters / scammers also targeted with banwaves ? Or are they banned on sight.

2. Also this question may be a little vague but people who have been banned for botting, how often did you actually bot ?

Usually everyone is banned by ban waves these days unless you do some obvious stupid game breaking shit.

I haven't botted since early legion where I got banned first week into emerald nightmare. It used to be semi safe to bot with like honorbuddy but I believe it's easier to get banned now.
